Russian submarine incident

On this very moment, a Russian mini-sub is pinned down at a depth of 600 feet, a fishing net wrapped around his propeller. Seven man are waiting for their rescue. American and British Navy are speeding towards the place of disaster. Until now, all rescue attempts failed.

This reminds me of the disaster with the Kursk on August 12, exactly five years ago, killing 118 sailors. A hydrogen peroxide leaking torpedo caused an explosion, blowing away the U-boat's front. More information on the Kursk and that incident you can find here. It's not only the Russian Navy, having problems to keep their submarines floating, as you can read in this article. Let's hope it turns out better this time...
